TRY

“TRY: Non formal learning approaches and self-management practices” is a Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership coordinated by Aventura Marão Clube (AMC), in partnership with two more NGO’s, three Vocational Education Schools and 3 municipalities, from Portugal, Poland and Romania. The aims of the project are to increase the quality and relevance of VET by introducing non-formal education in VET teaching methods, introduce self-sufficient school principles in VET organisations in order to diminish the dependency on state funding and provide students with hands-on experience, developing their practical, technical and business skills.

Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu

Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu or Regional Volunteer Center (RVC) was established in Kielce in1 997 as a program of the Foundation in Support of Local Democracy. From 2005 they have been an independent association. The main aims of the organization is to help people to understand the idea of volunteering, educate youth about alternative ways of spending spare time and helping the others. Work Exchange Office for volunteers is the Centre’s main activity and most of the users of the job office are students that are using volunteering as a practice before the regular job.

Zakład Doskonalenia Zawodowego in Kielce

Zaklad Doskonalenia Zawodowego in Kielce (ZDZ) is a leading educational institution in the świętokrzyskie region and active promoter of lifelong learning. It is among the top non-public educational institutions in Poland with the biggest number of schools in the region. These involve both middle and secondary schools as well as adult education covering a wide range of programmes and courses to cater for all the educational needs of our students. So far over 30.000 people have graduated from ZDZ schools and over one million have completed its courses. The courses offered at the moment include: Labour Safety and Hygiene, Construction, Economics and Administration, Power Engineering, Catering and Food Processing, Trade and Services and many more. ZDZ promotes various forms of non-formal and informal education which is realized by a wide range of extracurricular activities including ICT and sport student clubs.

Stowarzyszenie PROREW

Stowarzyszenie PROREW is an NGO working in the field of the labor market. PROREW is a training institution operating since 2007 for the comprehensive socio-professional young people. Its framework is the implementation of prevention activities, to assist young people at risk of social exclusion, the promotion of education, implementation of development programs for schools, organization of internships, development of key skills for the regional labor market and the organization of rest and leisure activities.

Aventura Marão Clube

Aventura Marão Clube (AMC) is a non profit association created in 1993 with the aim to promote healthy lifestyles among the population, especially youth in Amarante. Nowadays they run 4 different sections: Mountain Bikes, Kayaks, Traditional music and Fair Trade. Under the last one AMC opened in 1999 the first Portuguese Fair Trade Shop and participates in promotion and training actions at national and international youth programs and also organizes, since 2000, international work camps about various topics, such as environmental preservation, archeology and Fair Trade.

Belonging to the north of Portugal and placed in the sub region of Tâmega, the Municipality of Amarante is a local public body with 520 workers organized by areas of intervention and specialization. Its role is to promote the development of the city in several areas, such as quality of life, health and well-being, economic prosperity and competitiveness, innovation and knowledge, culture and heritage, social and territorial cohesion, governance and active citizenship.

EPAMAC

Escola Profissional de Agricultura e Desenvolvimento Rural de Marco de Canaveses (EPAMAC) is an inland rural school with VET courses – existing since 1989. It is a national public school integrated within the Portuguese Ministry of Education and Sciences Network. There are three areas of specialization: agriculture, rural tourism an equine management. One of EPAMAC main concerns is to provide the students with a wide range of practical experiences.

The Asociatia de Tineri din Ardeal (ATA)

The Asociatia de Tineri din Ardeal (ATA) has been founded at the end of 2011. According to ATA’s statutes, the main aim is to help develop, promote and represent the general interests of the communities in Transylvania by having social, cultural, sporting, educational, recreational and professional training activities, and thus promoting the active involvement of youth in the perpetuation of ethnic, national and European values.

Orasul Cristuru Secuiesc (OSC)

Is the town hall of Cristuru Secuiesc, a city in Harghita county, Romania. It lies in the Székely Land, an ethno-cultural region in Transylvania. The town is small, so it has very friendly and direct atmosphere. The inhabitants work in light industry and in the services domain, such as shops and different kind of offices. The other major field of employment is a kind of self-employment agriculture domain, in which people grow their own vegetables, fruits and crops and also keep animals.

Liceul Tehnologic Zeyk Domokos (DOMOKOS)

Liceul Tehnologic Zeyk Domokos (DOMOKOS) is an VET school from Cristuru Secuiesc, Transylvania, Romania. Domokos is a inclusive school and offers trainings in several areas and qualifications, such as mechanical, textile, woodworking and economy. The school has appropriately equipped training workshops and has very good results in terms of EU granted and other projects, enabling them to offer to VET students the opportunity to develop professionally and culturally.
